	Tasmanian Irrigation Development Board	On Site	Customer focused training looking at how they can process large point data sets, work with geospatial data and present pipe long sections in AutoCAD Civil 3D. 4 day training course was developed and implemented focusing on: Civil 3D styles and settings Working with Point Cloud data Using GIS data (ESRI) - presentation using FDO Creating and Editing Surfaces Using Feature Lines and Grading to undertake surface remodelling works including spillways Display of Profiles including band annotation

	West Tamar Council	On Site: Tasmanian Office	This 3 day training course focused on using Advanced Road Design for road reconstruction and stormwater drainage. Training included: A refresher on using ARD for road design Reviewing advanced design controls with Model Manager and cross section edits Applying design tools to solve customer projects including intersection reconstruction and rural road reconstruction Road design tips and tricks Tools included and work processes for undertaking stormwater drainage design using ARD Pipes

	Coughlan Civil	On Site: Coughlan Civil Offices	This 1 day customised training course was geared to take the experienced design team at Coughlan Civil to a new level by exposing them to more functionality in the software and optimising their current design workflow. Training topics included: Intersection reconstruction using strings and Model Manager Detention Basin/Channel design using grading, with channels created using a Feature Line linked to an Alignment and Profile. Grading tools were used to shape the channel. Data Shortcuts - exploring how this technology could be used to benefit working with larger projects.

	Bryant Concepts	On Site: International Office	This 3 day customised training course included both design and settings training for using Civil 3D, Advancedc Road Design and DRAINS to deliver site grading works associated with industrial building developments. Training topics included: Utilising Civil 3D for Site Building works, including use of feature lines, grading and multiple surfaces Automation of plan and profile documentation including spot elevation labelling, setout, feature line labelling and table outputs Dynamic volume outputs - generating cut/fill plans and optimising the design Creating and exporting stormwater drainage data to DRAINS via Advanced Road Design Introduction to DRAINS - creating and analysing drainage systems, generating and interpreting outputs.

	Esler & Associates	On Site: Albury Office	This 1 day customised training course was developed with the design team at Esler and Associates to help optimise their current work practices and to expose them to new functionality to enhance their current designs. The training covered AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Advanced Road Design software. Training topics included: Using Workspaces effectively Data Management: XRefs and Data Shortcuts Block extraction options in AutoCAD Road design - cross section editing controls ARD Pipes for drainage design

ARD Roads – refresher course with emphasis on how to best to use on the projects with their data ARD Pipes – standard 1 day course on software with cross reference to relater Council projects

	Trehy Ingold Neate	On Site: NSW Office	1 day course covering: ARD Pipes – condensed 1 day program AutoCAD, Civil 3D and ARD Roads – general discussion on improvements to all programs since 2007 and best way to implement them on an upcoming large project.

	Brimbank City Council	On Site: Council Offices	Customised 3 day training project focused on land planning, strategic planning and mapping departments at the council. Training was provided to enable staff to quickly and easily generate virtual streetscapes from collections of mapping data and project data provided by external consultants. Training included: Demonstrating transfer and import of MapInfo data into AutoCAD Civil 3D to create existing surface information, using council data Understanding the power of Civil 3D to create multiple surfaces and pasting surfaces together Creation of 3D virtual environments using Rapid Design Visualisation Software, including creation of simple buildings, application of rendering materials to different objects, creation of fly overs and drive throughs, inclusion of animated vehicles, addition of trees and inclusion of property boundary markings An exploration of the AutoCAD 3D modelling tools for the creation of solids representing proposed streetscape works
