Software Authorisations

Software authorisations for products we support differs between products.  The authorisation process for each product are listed below.

Autodesk Products

Standalone Installations

The authorisation process starts when the product is first run.  You will be requested to authorise the product and prompted to provide your organisation and contact details as well as the serial number - this is provided with the physical shipping of the product.

Network Installations

For a network installation you need to install the license server on the computer that is hosting the licensing system, then obtain a license file from Autodesk.  The process is:

Send an email to ap.register@autodesk.com with the following details:

Company name          
Serial number       
Product name      
Licence server computer name    
Licence server MAC address

The licence request may need to come from the contract manager or software coordinator. Autodesk will send you a new licence file to place on the server.

Civil Survey Solutions Products

Civil Survey Solutions Products include: Advanced Road Design, Stringer Survey, Site Leveller, 12D Exporter, Lot Utilities and Landscape.

Authorisation of these products requires you to have a license or serial key, which is normally issued to you at the time of purchasing the software.

Once you have a license/serial key you then go to the Software Authorisations page, input your license key and receive a license file.

Autodesk Home Use Policy

RDV

For standalone licensing the RDV authorisation process is completed totally on line and is activated upon starting RDV.  You need to have a license key to authorise.  

Upon purchase you will be issued with a license key from RDV via Civil Survey Solutions.  If you have purchased RDV and have not received a license key please contact us.  

Important Notes: RDV license activation as well as viewing RDV scense can be impacted by the User Access Controls in Windows VISTA and Windows 7.  Click here for more information.

Network versions use HASP licensing and a hardware license (USB).  For more information about HASP licensing, go to the RDV Website.  If you have not received the hardware license please contact us.    

AutoTrack

AutoTrack uses a hardware lock (USB) as part of the licensing system.

As part of the purchase of the product you will be issued with your media and USB key, as well as complete licensing instructions.

The licensing and installation process is currently managed by Analytico Pty Ltd - visit the Analytico website at www.analytico.com.au if you require any assistance with licensing or implementation of this product.

Watercom DRAINS

DRAINS uses a hardware lock (USB) as part of the licensing system.

 

As part of the purchase of the product you will be issued with your media and USB key, as well as complete licensing instructions.
