Attending a Web Session
Our webcasts are all hosted using Bluetrain - this includes both the visuals and audio (using VoIP).
Before the Web Session
In order to access this webcasting technology and use your computer effectively for the visuals and audio, please follow these steps:
1. Register to Attend a Web Session
Click on the link for a particular Web Session you would like to attend to open the Registration form.
2. Fill out the Registration form
Once this is complete, click on . This will send us your email address and registration details so we can invite you to the session before it starts.
3. Complete the Bluetrain Product Setup (click on Bluetrain Readiness Check image link, below)
Complete the to ensure that your computer is configured to host Bluetrain (this is an absolute MUST if you haven't used Bluetrain before).
Do this WELL BEFORE the session start date. Call us on 1300 254 004 if there are any problems.
Note: You can test whether your connection to BLUETRAIN will work by visiting the Bluetrain Test Page before your Web training session.
Special Note: BlueTrain is designed for Internet Explorer - it is unlikely to work inside any other browser.
Joining the Web Session
4. We will email you an Invite!
An invitation email will be sent to you, at least 15 minutes before the session starts, including a link to joint the meeting and the meeting password.
Note: We compile a list of attendees up to 24hrs before the event, so if you registered just before it was due to start and didn't get your email invite call us on 1300 254 004.
5. Use the link provided in the email to Join
Simply click on the link from the email to join the active web session - make sure you use Internet Explorer to view the web session. To join the meeting fill in your details, enter the password (included in the invitation email) and then click Join Meeting.
If your computer speakers are on you should be able to hear the web presentation. When you first start your session you will be prompted to confirm your audio - make sure to check that the audio is working! Communication can also be made using the Participant Panel on the left via the Group Chat and using the Yes/No toggles. Two way audio is available, subject to you having a suitable headset that includes speakers and microphone.
